Clubs and Socs Committees Hub
The Handbook
The following guidelines, recommendations, and advice were compiled to help students organize Clubs, Societies, and Independent Student Organizations using information provided by Clubs and Societies Committees and the Students’ Union Officers from 2023-2025, to serve as a reference text and to help prevent committees from making avoidable mistakes.
Please keep in mind that your work will involve a lot of dealing with Students’ Union Officers, many of whom are unpaid (like you) or not paid very much, who work countless hours and have a myriad of other responsibilities around student-focused issues. It’s important to manage your expectations in their ability to prioritize Club/Society affairs and if you need help, get in contact with them as soon as possible. Help from the institute will be minimal, if any, so be considerate of those who are trying.
If you encounter any issues with this page, please contact the Clubs and Societies Officer.
